Conflicts of Interest

Last updated: 10 September 2026

PlusPoint acts as a principal investor, adviser and, at times, a party with its own capital at stake in a transaction. This creates potential conflicts of interest that we identify and manage actively.

Where conflicts can arise

When PlusPoint advises on a transaction in which it, or a related party, also holds or is considering a principal investment.

When PlusPoint refers a client to a partner firm, and receives a referral or support fee for doing so.

When PlusPoint's research or analysis touches a sector or company in which PlusPoint has an existing investment.

How we manage them

Conflicts are identified and disclosed before a mandate or investment proceeds, considered by PlusPoint's governance process, and managed through documented controls — which may include declining a mandate, using information barriers, or obtaining independent review.

Referral and support fees

Any referral or support fee arising from a partner introduction is lawful, transparent, and disclosed to the affected client.
